Lens Guide
LENS TYPES
1. Single Vision
Single vision lenses are designed with one uniform prescription across the entire lens, making them ideal for correcting a single field of vision, like nearsightedness or farsightedness. These lenses offer clear and focused vision for everyday tasks and are perfect for those with specific vision correction needs.
2. Non-Prescription
Non-prescription lenses provide all the style benefits of eyewear without altering vision. They're a great choice for those who want eye protection from UV rays or digital screens, or simply to enhance their look, without any corrective power.
LENS MATERIAL
1. 1.56 Mid-Index (+$20)
Mid-index lenses offer a balance between thickness and weight, providing a thinner profile than standard lenses without the cost of high-index options. Ideal for mild to moderate prescriptions, 1.56 index lenses deliver clarity and comfort at an affordable price.
2. Polycarbonate (+$50)
Known for their durability and impact resistance, polycarbonate lenses are a great choice for everyday wear, especially for active lifestyles. They are lightweight, thin, and provide excellent UV protection, making them comfortable for extended use. With their shatter-resistant quality, these lenses are especially well-suited for children, ensuring both safety and reliability.
3. 1.67 High-Index (+$80)
High-index lenses are designed to be ultra-thin and lightweight, ideal for those with stronger prescriptions who want a slimmer profile without compromising on clarity or comfort. These lenses reduce distortion and offer a sleek look in any frame style.
Please Note: We do not offer 1.67 index lenses for prescriptions weaker than -2.00. The 1.67 index lenses are specially designed to be thinner and are best suited for thicker, higher prescription lenses. For prescriptions below -2.00, we recommend opting for 1.56 index lenses, which are more affordable and sufficiently thin for lower prescriptions.
4. Polycarbonate Photochromic (+$70)
These lenses combine the durability of polycarbonate with the convenience of light-responsive technology. Photochromic lenses adjust automatically to changing light conditions, darkening outdoors for UV protection and returning to clear indoors, providing versatile comfort and protection.
LENS ADD-ONS*
1. Blue Light Protection (FREE)
Blue light lenses help reduce exposure to blue light from digital screens, which can lead to eye strain and fatigue. Ideal for anyone spending extended time on computers or mobile devices, blue light protection can promote comfort and visual wellness during screen time.
2. Anti-Reflective (AR) Coating (FREE)
AR coating minimizes reflections on the lens surface, enhancing visual clarity and reducing glare. This coating is particularly useful for nighttime driving and screen use, providing a clearer view and a more polished look with reduced lens glare.
*Add-ons are optional and can be selected based on your personal needs and lifestyle.
